welcome to HDP! I'm Inbal - a bi-lingual, proud Israeli-American artist living in sunny Beit Shemesh, Israel.

hummingbird design prints is a surface design brand inspired by one of my favorite little birds - hummingbirds, who are so light and swift, and can achieve the impossible; hovering in mid-air, flapping those tiny delicate wings up to 80 times per second! they are my inspiration for achieving what can seem impossible, for creating something from nothing - which is the (at times overwhelming) goal of every artist who's ever sat in front of a blank canvas.

art has always been my passion, ever since I was a little girl. over the years I have dabbled and explored all forms of creativity such as cake decorating, jewelry making, graphic design and web design, and even designed and produced a line of women's clothing that was one of the most exhilarating creative endeavors I have ever accomplished! and all along my journey fine art has never failed to beckon me further - to continue growing, learning and experimenting.

these past few years I have spent countless hours developing various series of various nature themes in my favorite mediums - watercolors and gouache; simultaneously discovering the world of repeat patterns and surface design.

I am proud of my work, and the time spent developing this portfolio. my most recent additions of repeat patterns will go out to companies that create products and license artists (like me!) for use of designs.

my goal for hummingbird design prints is to create art that conveys themes of healing, growth and inspiration through nature elements, to surround our lives with positivity and joy.
